At the age of 70, my Grandfather, Pat Difilippantonio, decided it was time for a new hobby.  He took a few classes and setup a small stained glass shop in his
basement where he began creating beautiful stained glass.  One day while visiting with him, he showed me the art of stained glass and some of his beautiful
creations.  Within a 1/2 hour, I was hooked on Stained Glass.
I decided to take a few classes at a local college and began creating stained glass as a hobby.
Soon, I had my first Stained Glass studio in the basement of my home in Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania.  My first Stained Glass instructor was a Stained Glass guru by the name of Sam
Schatz.

At that time, Sam was supplying the Moravian Stars to the Moravian Book Store in Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania.  Of course, I had Sam show me the art of creating these beautiful stars and soon I
was making and selling Moravian Stars.

I began selling my stained glass creations (Moravian stars, candle holders, angels, sun catchers
and panels) at local craft shows and fairs in and around Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

My love for Stained Glass has motivated me to create this site and share this beautiful craft and my
creations with you.  We also have some Stained supplies available for sale.  As a full service
Stained Glass studio, we can perform custom creations specifically designed for you and perform
repairs on existing pieces.

Thank you for visiting Glass Art by Joe Stained Glass Studio....

Pets like Rocket need our help... There are too many animals abused
